Stirlin celebrates staff milestone

Lincoln construction contractor, Stirlin, is thrilled to announce a significant milestone for one of its team members, Logan. As he celebrates one year with the company, Logan, Technical Trainee at Stirlin, is embarking on a new chapter in his career by starting a HNC in Construction Management (Construction Design and Build Technician) at Lincoln College.

The 2-year course is a Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) tailored to provide students with a blend of practical experience and academic knowledge essential for success in the construction industry. Throughout the course, Logan will delve into various aspects of construction, gaining in-depth insights and valuable transferable skills.

Logan joined Stirlin in September last year, after having completed his A-Levels, and has been working across different areas of the business, including Quantity Surveying, Procurement and Site Management.

Logan’s dedication to his work and his commitment to higher education perfectly align with Stirlin’s values of staff learning and development, as well as their commitment to supporting local talent. This course will not only contribute to Logan’s personal growth but will also enhance the quality of service that Stirlin provides to its clients.

Logan says of the new venture, “Enrolling on this course was driven by my passion for enhancing my knowledge in the industry. My year at Stirlin has been a fantastic learning experience so far – I’ve really thrived in this environment, and I wanted to broaden my expertise even further to better support the Stirlin team.

“The course is great opportunity for me to develop my skillset and aligns perfectly with my career aspirations. It will provide a solid foundation for the path that I’d like to pursue, which is either the Quantity Surveyor or Site Manager role.

Over the next two years, I’m excited to develop my knowledge and apply what I’ve learned to my work at Stirlin. I’m hoping to continue learning and progress on to do my HND – I’m eager to see where this journey takes me.”

Stirlin congratulates Logan on this impressive milestone, wishing him every success in his studies, and look forward to witnessing his continued growth.
