This state-of-the-art facility, designed to support Lincframe’s expanding operations, is the first project to be delivered on Stirlin and Castle Group’s 20-acre Enterprise West Lindsey development in Saxilby, which plans to drive significant economic growth in the region. As manufacturers and designers of all types of timber roof trusses and engineered metal web floor joists, this bespoke facility for Lincframe features a detached office building and expansive warehouse, specifically designed to enhance its operations and support Lincframe's ambitious growth, offering a versatile and spacious environment that can accommodate their expansion. Stirlin were appointed by Lincframe as Principal Contractor, to oversee the entire project from concept to completion. To meet Lincframe’s unique requirements, we worked closely with them and the architect, Heronswood, to develop a detailed design for their new premises. The detached office provides dedicated meeting rooms, a welcoming reception area with an impressive oak truss proudly installed by Lincframe themselves, a kitchen and staff welfare facilities, director and designer offices, and an external terrace overlooking the Enterprise West Lindsey site. The warehouse is meticulously structured for efficiency, with dedicated areas for manufacturing, machinery and vehicle storage, extensive welfare facilities, a large concrete yard, and bespoke racking systems for outdoor storage of manufactured roof trusses. The buildings were constructed with sustainable materials, making them largely self-sufficient. During the summer months, the facility operates solely on solar power, reducing external energy reliance and delivering considerable value for money. Managing Director, Tony Lawton, at Stirlin says of the project: “We are thrilled to hand over this fantastic new premises to Lincframe Roof Trusses. It has been a pleasure to work closely with them on this project and bring their vision to life. This marks a significant milestone not only for Lincframe but also for us, as the first completed project on our Enterprise West Lindsey site. "After putting in place the infrastructure to launch this 20-acre development, seeing Lincframe’s new headquarters come to fruition is very exciting. We’re proud of what we have achieved alongside our partners and contractors and thank everyone involved for their dedication. This project sets a high standard for what’s to come at Enterprise West Lindsey, and we look forward to watching this site grow into a thriving business community, supporting economic growth in the region.” Directors at Lincframe Roof Trusses, Dan Hart, Luke Holmes, Kerry Hinch, and Andrew Holmes, expressed their enthusiasm for this milestone, stating: “After 35 years in the construction industry, we’ve expanded to the point where a purpose-built facility was essential for our continued growth. This new workshop and office setup allows us to further our ambitions and build a future-proofed business in a location we know and love.” The choice to build at Enterprise West Lindsey was driven by several factors, including the site’s semi-rural setting, convenient access to the Lincoln bypass, and ideal plot sizes that allow for custom designs and potential future expansion. The new site offers flexibility to accommodate up to 100% growth, as well as ample space for new product manufacturing—a critical aspect of Lincframe’s long-term vision. Stirlin’s expertise in industrial and residential builds made them the perfect partner, and they’ve guided us through every step of the process.” This flagship project at Enterprise West Lindsey sets a high standard for future developments on the site, laying the groundwork for what promises to become a dynamic business hub in the region.
