T-Levels: Hosting industry placements in different roles and industries

Hosting industry placements in different roles and industries

Have you considered industry placements? Employers who host industry placements do so because they contribute to the development of their workforce.

“T-level students are our future talent bank – they bring innovative ideas, great technological skills and, the ones we have engaged with to date, are determined to make the world a better place to live in. This is the workforce we need in our sector. They can learn from experienced colleagues whilst bringing a fresh perspective to our projects.” Rose Rees, Head of Engagement and Skills, Midland Metro Alliance

Getting started as an industry placement host

Over the coming months, the Department for Education, and the Strategic Development Network (SDN), are hosting a series of 1-hour webinars to help you explore T Level industry placements.

Each session offers:

  • insights from employers who are already hosting industry placements
  • examples of how T Level students contribute to workforce development
  • a deeper understanding of the support and benefits on offer to you as an employer

There is no charge for these sessions. You’ll receive a session recording, handy slide deck and follow-up opportunities with SDN.

These 1-hour event are designed to help you understand, plan, and prepare to offer industry placements.
