Winners announced at the annual Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards 2023

Lincolnshire County Council, Delta Simons, and Starglaze Windows were just some of last night’s (2nd February 2023) winners at the fifth annual Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards.

Over 340 people gathered to celebrate the Construction and Property sector in Lincolnshire, with the awards ceremony taking place at the Doubletree by Hilton in Lincoln.

Guests arrived at the black-tie event, sponsored by Willmott Dixon, and were welcomed by our host of the night, the brilliant magician Ben Hanlin.

Ben had the audience on the edge of their seats as he entertained everyone with some impressive magic tricks and jaw dropping illusions, alongside a game of Play Your Cards Right raising money for our Charity of the Year, Headway Lincolnshire.

The guests also enjoyed a delicious three-course meal prepped by the brilliant chefs at the DoubleTree by Hilton, the table wine flowed with high spirits and laughter throughout the evening.

The winners of the Greater Lincolnshire Construction & Property Awards 2023 are:

For the first time ever, we’re delighted to share that Ursula Lidbetter from Lincolnshire Co-op has won the Lifetime Achievement Award for all the great work she has done within Lincolnshire’s Construction and Property environment, helping our marvellous county grow and thrive.

Via the fun Play Your Cards Right game, the awards also helped raise a massive £2,663.00 for Headway Lincolnshire, one of the UK’s leading charities providing information, support and services to survivors, their families and carers who have been impacted by a brain injury. Every penny raised on the night will go straight to the charity to help them in their critical life-improving work.

Charlotte Watson, Deputy Chief Executive at the Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce spoke about the evening saying:

“This was truly a delightful evening celebrating the great projects that are taking place in Lincolnshire. The evening was a brilliant opportunity to honour the best of the Construction and Property industries within the county and highlight the remarkable projects, innovations and forward-thinking companies.

“We are so proud to see these awards grow each year. It was an extremely tough task choosing our finalists and winners, with the standards being exceptionally high including future-industry leaders and multi-million-pound projects.

“We look forward to seeing everyone at next year’s awards, which are promising to be even bigger and better, so make sure to save the date – 1st February 2024!”

Lincolnshire Chamber of Commerce, the awards judges and steering group would like to thank all the sponsors for their generosity and everyone else involved who helped make the prestigious awards night a success.
