Wright Vigar Raises £10,000 for LNAA and Commits to Continued Support for the Lifesaving Charity

Wright Vigar are proud to announce that they have successfully raised £10,000 for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance (LNAA), their chosen charity for this tax year. The firm have embarked on a series of creative and inspiring fundraising initiatives that have not only met but exceeded their initial fundraising target.

The firm’s commitment to making a difference in the community was demonstrated through a range of fundraising activities that engaged employees and supporters alike. These initiatives included dress-down days, a virtual horse racing night, an adventurous charity walk in the Peak District, corporate golf days, and numerous individual efforts that showcased the team’s dedication to the cause.

Among the standout individual efforts, seven team members took to the skies in a breathtaking skydive and one individual participated in the LNAA Challenge event, conquering the ascent of Snowdon at night. Several others have supported the cause and showcased their athletic ability by taking on sporting challenges such as the Lincoln 10k, Nottingham half marathon and the challenging C2C2C.

“We are thrilled to have reached our fundraising goal for LNAA and are truly grateful to our employees, supporters, and everyone who contributed to this remarkable achievement,” said Tom Maxwell, Marketing Manager at Wright Vigar. “However, our commitment to LNAA and the vital work they do does not end here. We will continue our support and hope to make an even greater impact in the future.”

Later this month, the company will host a charity football tournament and a quiz night, inviting employees, businesses, and the wider community to join in the efforts to raise funds for LNAA. These events promise to be not only great fun but also an opportunity to further contribute to the charitable cause.

Joe Harper, Corporate Partnerships Manager for LNAA said: “We are immensely grateful to the Wright Vigar team for their generous donation to Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. This unwavering commitment helps keep our iconic yellow helicopter in the sky and fleet of cars on the road, bringing the equivalent of a hospital emergency department to patients in need. It is this intense level of care that makes a difference in saving lives.

Thank you Wright Vigar for making us your charity of choice.”
